Guardian Administrator

About the position

At the Guardian Office, you will have a responsible and varied job. Our task is to supervise the assignments of guardians, curators, and legal representatives. This supervision protects individuals who cannot take care of their rights or manage their finances and who, for that reason, have a guardian or curator appointed for them.

Examples of tasks:

  • review financial reports from representatives
  • work and document in the existing operational systems
  • ensure that cases are handled legally and efficiently
  • communicate with principals, relatives, representatives, and authorities
  • investigate applications and reports regarding guardians, curators, and guardianship
  • apply and write opinions to the district court

About the workplace

The Guardian Office is part of the municipal management administration, and the workplace is located on Ribbingsgatan near the Travel Center. Here you will be part of a wonderful team of 18 employees. We always have colleagues to turn to for questions, and we also have an expert who supports the work.

Qualifications

In the role of guardian administrator, it is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and that you structure and organize your work effectively. As a person, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You have the ability to maintain focus in stressful situations and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

In this position, you will have a lot of contact with citizens, and we therefore see that you are calm and accommodating in your approach but also clear in your communication. You enjoy working both independently and cross-functionally with colleagues, and you relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. The work requires that you have a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing, and that you are computer literate so that you can document what the operations require.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • university degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on law, social work/sociology, economics, or other higher education that the employer finds suitable

Desirable:

  • experience in investigative work within state or municipal operations
  • experience in decision-making within state or municipal operations
  • experience in the guardian's operations
  • at least 30 credits in legal subjects

Start date: by agreement

Additional information

Interviews are planned to be held during week 3 in the Örebro Municipality's premises at Åbylunden.

Tests will be applied as part of the recruitment process.
