We are currently seeking a Project Procurement Manager in real estate for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. Initially, this is a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs with a very good chance of extension. We apply ongoing selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Project Procurement Manager in real estate, you are a key player in the project organization and actively participate in project meetings where you contribute your procurement expertise. You define procurement and supplier strategies to ensure the best possible results regarding cost, quality, and other project goals. You work closely with internal interfaces and are responsible for extensive internal communication, including summarizing decision-making and approval processes. The role also involves ongoing dialogue with suppliers and continuous market monitoring to identify and select the right suppliers for each project.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement of national and international construction and support services, technical building equipment, and engineering services based on real estate needs
• Create (electronic) bids, evaluate offers, and conduct price and contract negotiations until contract conclusion
• Manage supplements, changes, and claims related to contracts
• Define and implement procurement strategies for your material areas
• Conduct needs, market, and supplier analyses to ensure long-term, cost-effective, and quality delivery
• Perform global market analyses depending on the project country to support optimal procurement strategy
• Ensure implementation and use of procurement methods, processes, and systems in a digital procurement environment
• Responsible for supplier management (qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification)
• Plan, follow up, and document savings
• Work closely with internal functions such as legal, project management, construction planning, controlling, reporting, and other procurement functions

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with business acumen and strong negotiation skills. You have:

• A degree as an architect, civil engineer, industrial engineer with a focus on construction, or commercial education with a technical construction background
• Several years of experience in project management and/or procurement of goods and services in construction or real estate-related areas
• Good knowledge of project procurement, contract law, and negotiation processes
• A structured, proactive, and goal-oriented working method
• Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working with Office tools and digital procurement systems
