Your Role

Are you a project manager who thrives on structure, analysis, and planning? Do you want a key role in some of the most exciting projects within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft, such as GlobalEye and Saab 340/2000 AEW&C? Then this could be the role for you!

Our projects are a complex mix of aircraft design, production/purchasing, modification, and flight testing. They are characterized by a high need for collaboration both within and outside Saab, as well as clear customer expectations for on-time delivery. In this role, your full focus will be on project planning and scheduling - you will not have your own team or budget responsibility, but will support the main and sub-project managers in ensuring that the project is well-structured, planned, and scheduled from start to finish.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the main project manager to plan and structure all parts of the project.
• Creating, analyzing, and updating project schedules at various levels.
• Performing impact analyses for changes in plans and providing decision support.
• Communicating status updates and developments to project stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of project and planning methods within SMRA.

You will be part of the section, Program Management, Risk Management, and Planning, where we work together to deliver successful projects with the highest quality.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience as a project manager but now wants to focus on tasks related to project planning.
• Has good knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Antura.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We would also like you to have a technical background, either through education or work experience.

• Structured and analytical - you quickly see what needs to be done and how it should be organized.
• Communicative and collaborative - you work closely with project managers and other stakeholders and get people on board.
• Self-driven and proactive - you drive activities forward and ensure that timelines are met.
