Your tasks
With us, you will have the opportunity to work on developing sustainable solutions for the city's public spaces, from minor rain to extreme downpours. You will be part of a team with stormwater experts, street engineers, and landscape architects, where you together contribute to a safe and attractive Norrköping.
You will participate in early planning stages and provide expertise on stormwater management, both locally and at a system level. The role also involves being an expert in development projects throughout the process, from feasibility studies to construction, and driving your own assignments.
You will review stormwater investigations and drawings. Depending on your knowledge and interests, you will also have the opportunity to work with simpler design and execution of investigations. Your role also includes a significant contribution to the municipality's work with risk management plans for high flows.
As we are a client organization, it is part of your mission to shape assignments for consultants based on political goals and guidelines. You will develop governing documents and guidelines for stormwater management while monitoring the external environment and keeping updated on new research in your field.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a graduated engineer in areas such as water and wastewater, road and water, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
You have worked with stormwater issues in planning, design, or construction.
We would like you to have experience in land design, sustainable stormwater management, and nature-based solutions.
If you have knowledge and understanding of contract law, LOU, planning and building legislation, or the Water Services Act, we see this as an asset.
We use AutoCad and Scalgo; knowledge of these systems is considered a plus.
Given the nature of the work, we expect you to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to analyze complex situations to find practical and well-founded ways forward.
You work in a structured manner and have a strong self-drive, allowing you to take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes forward independently.
You plan and prioritize based on both short-term and long-term goals. By working goal-oriented and results-oriented, you contribute to the organization achieving its set goals and developing sustainably.
As a person, you are a team player who sees the value in collaboration and actively contributes to creating a positive work environment where the whole is always in focus.
Your curiosity keeps you updated in your field and drives you to seek new knowledge for both professional and personal development.
You are confident in taking initiatives and making decisions, even in challenging situations, and you stand by your positions with both integrity and clarity.
