Project Manager for Infrastructure Maintenance in the Southeast Region
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance business area is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the existing and future road and railway systems through procurement, management, and follow-up of maintenance projects. Within the Infrastructure Technology unit in the south, we work with the maintenance of structures (bridges, tunnels, rock cuts) and technical installations. Our maintenance work includes assessing conditions, planning and executing preventive and corrective measures, as well as replacing existing structures.
Your job responsibilities include planning, leading, and executing projects within structures of varying sizes and complexities according to directives and specifications with a focus on time, cost, and content. You will work with procurement, design, risk management, communication planning, follow-up, and be responsible for feedback on experiences. You will have technical specialists, consultants, and contractors to assist you. You will also interact with the public, contractors, media, etc., within your defined area of responsibility.

Additional InformationThe location for the position is Jönköping, Kalmar, Linköping, or Norrköping.
In this recruitment, web-based tests are used as part of the selection process. Interviews will be conducted digitally via Skype and are planned to take place at the end of week 7.

QualificationsTo succeed in this role, your leadership skills are of great importance. You communicate in a responsive and clear manner, create engagement and participation, and are confident in delegating and reporting results. You take clear ownership of your assignments and work proactively and systematically all the way to delivery. Furthermore, you have good analytical skills that help you make qualitative decisions.
Since the position involves a lot of collaboration with internal support functions, external consultants, and contractors, we place great importance on your ability to collaborate as well as your ability to plan, lead, and follow up.
In addition to personal qualities, we want you to have:
- university or college education of 180 credits (120 ECTS) with a focus on construction technology or other education that we, together with your experience, assess to meet the educational requirement
- several years of relevant work experience in a leadership role (project manager, site manager, or equivalent) where you have been responsible for: execution of maintenance measures on bridges, roads, or railways, or new construction/reinvestment of structures (bridges, tunnels, etc.)
- driver's license for passenger cars
- good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
It is an advantage if you have:
- knowledge of contract law within AB/ABT/ABK and AMA
- experience working with bridge projects (construction/operation and maintenance/inspection)
- training in concrete class 1
