The Role of Group Manager
In the role of Group Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the specialist team within design, installation, and VDC. The position is divided 50/50 between managerial duties and operational work within one of the areas, which means you will both coach your team and be actively involved in specialist work. 
You will work closely with the department's production and project management and play a key role in the department's future development. An important part of the role is to ensure that NCC's working methods, tools, and operational systems are used correctly, as well as ensuring that quality, work environment, environmental, and safety processes are followed.
In this role, you will be responsible for ten employees across all three areas, where you coach and develop the group both operationally and strategically, and are responsible for budget, staffing, employee conversations, and HR processes related to the group with the help of your manager and HR Business Partner.
Networking is an important part of the role, and you will be part of a network for group managers in the department, as well as at the division and central levels.

About the Västmanland/Sörmland/Östergötland (VSÖ) Department
The department has a broad competence in all types of building production and consists of well-functioning project teams. The department currently has about 250 engaged employees, and we operate from our offices in Västerås, Eskilstuna, Nyköping, Norrköping, and Linköping.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone with leadership experience and the ability to create cohesion even when the team is geographically dispersed. You have a post-secondary education in construction technology or equivalent experience, and a genuine interest in leadership and development. Previous experience as a design manager or construction manager is advantageous.
You are structured, communicative, and confident in making decisions. Experience with budget work and digital tools is important, as well as an understanding of design and the construction process. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license, are required.

Additional Information
The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. You will be based at one of our offices in Västerås, Eskilstuna, Linköping, Nyköping, or Norrköping. Your employees are located at several of the offices and projects, which means travel is required. The position requires a B driver's license.
This position will be background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
