About the Position

As a traveling technician, you will be an important part of a growing team specialized in ensuring the optimal functioning of command and communication systems for the Swedish Armed Forces.

You will work with installation and maintenance at customer sites. The job requires not only technical competence but also the ability to act independently and solve complex problems in a dynamic work environment. Depending on your place of residence, you should be aware that the job involves approximately 3-4 overnight stays per week, so you should be comfortable with traveling.

The work takes place on-site in Borensberg but may be assigned to other locations based on the needs of the business.

About You

As a person, you likely recognize traits such as responsibility, attention to detail, and analytical ability, combined with the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge. You also have strong communication skills, enjoy working in teams, and are skilled at adapting to changes.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform installations, upgrades, and service of military communication systems.
• Work independently and in teams to ensure the optimal functioning of technical systems.
• Be responsible for inventorying spare parts stock and managing stock levels.
• Act as a contact person regarding spare parts and be a resource for other departments.
• Order spare parts and perform technical work according to given guidelines.

Formal Requirements

• Relevant education, at least at the high school level with a technical focus in areas such as electricity, energy, data, or automation.
• Experience in service and maintenance of technical systems and networks.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• B driver's license.
• Swedish citizenship (as work will be performed on protected objects).
• Approved background check.

Desirable Qualifications

• Completed military service or previous background within the Armed Forces.
• Previous experience with the Armed Forces' command and communication systems.
• Technical competence in electricity, electronics, or similar fields.
