Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our biomass power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

In the role of energy expert, you will conduct investigations based on customer needs and the conditions of the property, as well as analyze, dimension, and design district heating and cooling systems and other technical systems in the property. You will be responsible for your own customer assignments, which include contract, work environment, and budget responsibilities. You will prepare quotes and complete action proposals, act as project manager for new and renovation projects of district heating plants, and conduct inspections. District heating and cooling are central to our service offerings, but the entire property's energy system and digital property services are also included. We are looking for someone with solid experience in energy systems in properties.

You will join a team of ambitious, engaged, and knowledgeable colleagues who help each other and support one another. Your work will be varied, free, and stimulating, with great opportunities to develop alongside customers and colleagues. You will have the chance to advise small and large property owners on resource-efficient solutions and smart energy efficiency measures that meet customer expectations while contributing to a sustainable Stockholm.

The role is a permanent position and involves daytime work based in our office environment in Hjorthagen, Stockholm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a college/university with a relevant focus for the role.
• Experience working in the energy sector.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good communication skills and can express oneself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• Good knowledge of district heating in commercial properties.
• Good digital skills.
• Good technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, cooling, and control systems in properties.
