About the Role In this position, you will be involved in developing highly specialized equipment used to inspect sensitive environments, primarily within the nuclear industry. You will work in a cross-functional team of mechanical and electrical designers, developers, and technicians, where together you will create manipulators and robotic solutions for remote inspections – from design to testing and delivery.

As an electrician, you play a central role in building, wiring, and ensuring the functionality of the control systems that make the entire construction work. The work is varied and practical, focusing on electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting, but you will also be involved in mechanical adaptation and system testing in the workshop.

Your Future Responsibilities You will work with both new development and modification of complex systems. The work is close to manufacturing and in direct contact with technicians, designers, and project managers.

  • Assembly and installation of electrical cabinets and control systems
  • Soldering, contracting, and connecting wiring and connectors
  • Reading and working according to electrical schematics
  • Installing and adjusting motors, sensors, encoders, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshooting and functional testing of systems
  • Participation in mechanical assembly and system testing
  • Travel for installation and troubleshooting on-site with customers

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified electrician with experience in industrial electricity, control systems, or automation
  • Has practical experience in electrical cabinet construction, wiring, and schematic reading
  • Is accustomed to working with both low voltage and control systems
  • Has a B driver's license
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English

We consider it a plus if you have:

  • Experience with pneumatics and electrically controlled valves
  • Knowledge in control engineering, mechatronics, or PLC systems
  • Experience from prototype environments or robotic solutions

You thrive in a practical and varied role where you can follow the work from idea to finished product. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility for what you build. For you, order and safety are a given, and you have no problem collaborating closely with others in a technical team. This role suits you if you want to develop long-term and contribute with both brain and hands.

Additional Information Start: Upon agreement Location: Stockholm Scope: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent with an initial probationary period Travel: Approximately 20–50 travel days per year, mostly in teams

About the Client The client develops and builds advanced robotic equipment and manipulators for non-destructive testing, primarily within the nuclear industry. With a strong focus on safety and quality, they create solutions used in environments where precision and reliability are crucial. Here, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration between electrical, mechanical, and software is central – and where each individual has a significant impact on the final result.
