GF Building Flow Solutions (formerly Uponor) is a division within the international industrial group Georg Fischer (GF), which has sales companies in 30 countries and production facilities in 13 locations in Europe as well as North and South America. About the position
In the role of sales engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with HVAC consulting firms, property developers, and other players in the construction and installation sector in the Stockholm area. By introducing our solutions and products already in the planning stages of projects, you contribute to customers achieving technical, economic, and environmental benefits.
You will combine technical advice and training with sales efforts, actively participate in all phases of projects – from idea to implementation – and provide technical support to ensure that our solutions meet the specific needs of customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and developing business with customers to ensure that our solutions become a natural part of future construction projects
- Participating in projects from idea to implementation, providing technical support, and ensuring that solutions meet customer requirements
- Training and presenting our systems and services to customers in a professional and convincing manner
- Working strategically to enter earlier in the sales process and find new business avenues.
Collaborating internally with our teams to develop and adapt solutions to meet customer needs - Providing ongoing feedback on development opportunities for our product, system, and service offerings
The team you will join
In this role, you will be a key player in our team led by Business Area Manager Construction Kim Berg (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kim-berg/). You will collaborate with our experienced sales organization that works with installers, wholesalers, property development companies, and consulting firms. Together, we drive sales forward with a focus on quality, innovation, and long-term solutions to create sustainable and value-creating businesses for our customers.
Who we are looking for
This is a role for you who enjoys working independently and closely with customers, where you have the opportunity to influence, create business, and drive the sales process forward. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, business-oriented, and has a strong technical interest. You are creative and find new ways into business while having the persistence and patience to work with longer sales cycles.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the industry, for example as an HVAC designer, HVAC engineer, project manager, design manager, assignment manager, energy specialist, or another relevant position
- Good understanding of the various stages of the construction process and its decision-makers
- Good technical understanding of HVAC
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good data and system skills
- Driver's license B
