We are looking for a Construction Manager for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The assignment is part-time, with a scope of 20–50% depending on the project phase.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Construction Manager is responsible for the construction management of the contract in the project Gjutmästaren 6 et 1, focusing on production planning and coordination. The role includes participation in the contract phase, from preparations to follow-up work, ensuring that work is carried out according to applicable work documents and project requirements. The Construction Manager represents the project towards contractors and external contacts, participates in meetings, inspections, and risk management, and monitors that documentation and as-built documents are produced.

Responsibilities

Be structured with good planning and collaboration skills

Assist the organization with specialized expertise in production issues such as production planning and TA plans

Overall responsibility for ensuring that the execution of the contract work follows applicable work documents

Lead, call for, and document construction meetings, and any coordination meetings every other week

Review, follow up, and control the contract work on-site, including verification of self-controls

Review and control of additional work

Follow up on schedules

Review and control of the daily log; participate in the follow-up of the contractor's work environment efforts

Review of financial documentation and monthly lifts

Answer questions/notifications in consultation with the construction project manager

Represent the project towards contractors, external contacts, and third parties

Participate in inspections and ensure they are carried out

Participate in risk management work

Monitor that final documentation and materials for as-built documents are produced

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. 

Education: Traffic arrangements and earthworks in public land. You should have worked at least 8 years full-time in earth, road, and utility construction, as a construction manager or at least 1 year as a construction manager if this is complemented by at least 6 years as a contractor in a supervisory position.

Meritorious 

Particular emphasis will be placed on work that includes: -Park construction -Experience with bike paths -Soil contamination -Utility work, coordination of incoming utility contracts and careful excavation    next to existing utilities -Coordination with subcontractors and nearby operations
