We are looking for a Railway Electrical Power Project Manager for Trafikverket. 

This is a consulting assignment that can be performed from Trafikverket's offices in Stockholm, Västerås, or Gothenburg.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of project manager within the National Program Electrical and Power Unit involves leading projects within the railway's electrical power facilities, including the construction of power supply facilities, line work, replacement of yard and tunnel lighting, and construction of technical houses. The project manager is responsible for driving and following up projects against set goals, with effective resource utilization and high quality. The role involves extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders and collaboration with project engineers and internal specialists.

Responsibilities

Participate in securing Time, Cost, and Content (TKI) in current projects.

In consultation with the client and central support resources, initiate, prepare, and be responsible for the implementation and follow-up of the project regarding time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment.

Lead and manage projects.

Assist in the establishment of schedules, calculations, and budgets.

Assist in the development and follow-up of the project's control program in current projects.

Assist in the development and follow-up of risks in current projects.

Assist in the procurement process.

Participate in site visits and inspections in current projects.

Contribute to the work with management data.

Have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA.

Contribute to the work with permits and agreements, e.g., network concession.

Transfer knowledge to employees at Trafikverket regarding the tasks that the resource consultant performs for Trafikverket.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important. B driver's license. At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (Project Manager General Railway). The work experience must not be older than 10 years. Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

Requirement of 3 years of work experience as a project manager or in a supervisory role within the area of railway power supply. At least one of the projects with >30 MSEK in total turnover.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area. You must have knowledge and experience of standard agreements regarding AB, ABT, and ABK.

Desirable 

You have been a project manager in railway projects in at least 1 of the following areas: - Converter station - Transformer station, distribution station, or junction box - Sucking transformer - Yard or tunnel lighting - Technical house with emergency disconnection or other communication equipment. For the experience to be considered, you must have worked in each project for at least 1 year. The work experience must not be older than ten years.  You have experience as a project manager for serial projects, where an action within one of the areas below has been implemented at least ten different locations: - Converter station - Transformer station, distribution station, or junction box - Sucking transformer - Yard or tunnel lighting - Technical house with emergency disconnection or other communication equipment. Serial projects refer to projects where multiple actions are handled in parallel and/or sequentially, in different phases such as planning, design, production, and handover. For the experience to be considered, you must have worked at least one year in each project. 

Completed BASÄSKYDD training.

Have completed training on the client's work environment responsibility.
