Your mission as a cost estimator

As a cost estimator at Svevia, you will drive the cost estimation process from tender documents to completed bid proposals in our construction projects. You will work both independently and in teams, especially on larger projects. The role is broad and includes everything from time and cost estimation to planning, follow-up, purchasing, and assessing risks and opportunities.

You play an important role in contributing to development and innovation by keeping yourself updated on techniques, prices, and alternative methods and materials. You will collaborate closely with purchasers, project managers, and site managers, and become part of a competent team with three other cost estimators. You will report to the head of estimating.

To succeed and thrive in the role of cost estimator, we believe you are someone who easily collaborates and builds good relationships, both internally and externally. With your structured and planning ability, you take responsibility for your tasks and drive them forward with precision. You are analytical and solution-oriented, which allows you to quickly identify opportunities and handle challenges effectively.

We would like you to have the following experiences and qualifications:

• A couple of years of experience in a role as a cost estimator
• Experience with tender documents and bidding processes in construction and infrastructure projects
• Knowledgeable in AMA/MER Construction, contract law, LOU, and MAP
• Driver's license B
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
