We are now recruiting an experienced estimator for one of the best civil engineering teams in northern Stockholm.

As an estimator, you will be a key person in driving tender projects forward. You will be responsible for producing accurate tender calculations with precise quantity calculations. You will lead the estimating work within the project all the way to production start and contribute to the company's profitability through careful analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization.

The office is located in Västerort, and you are expected to be on-site at least three days a week. The work involves both independent tasks and close collaboration with an experienced estimating team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the process from obtaining tender documents to submitting bids.
• Lead the estimating work in tender projects.
• Establish and quality assure quantity calculations, pricing, and overhead calculations.
• Identify and document conditions, risks, and opportunities.
• Present and hand over estimates for tender reviews and production starts.
• Stay updated on market prices, production methods, and technology.
• Gather and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, production, and external suppliers.
• Develop and improve estimating routines and tools by following up completed estimates against actual outcomes.
• Contribute to a safe working environment and adhere to values and guidelines.

Requirements:

• At least two years of work experience in construction production.
• At least three years of experience as an estimator in civil engineering.
• Experience with LOU.
• Good knowledge of construction technology, AMA, MER, and contract law.
• Good material knowledge as well as quality and environmental knowledge.
• Very good ability to read and interpret drawings and technical descriptions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and laws.
• Knowledge of earthworks and utility works.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good knowledge of MS Office, MAP, and Bluebeam.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
