Developing Leadership Role in an Expanding Earthworks Company

Our client is an earthworks and construction company that specializes in fine planning and courtyards, primarily operating in central Stockholm and the northern part of the city. The company is currently in a growth phase with several exciting projects in the pipeline.

Among the new assignments are projects where security clearance is a requirement – giving you the chance to work in both challenging and developing environments. About the Role

As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading and driving several medium-sized projects simultaneously – from planning to execution and follow-up. You are the owner of the project and are responsible for ensuring that the project meets its goals regarding finances, quality, and development.

The role involves driving the project with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while developing working methods and processes together with your team.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the project’s finances, including budget, forecasts, follow-up, and profitability.
• Proactive financial management and business decisions to ensure the project meets its goals.
• Lead the project from start to finish with a focus on strategy, planning, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously improve processes, working methods, and results in the projects.

Development Focus

You will identify areas for improvement and drive change initiatives to increase both efficiency and profitability.

Who Are You?

• We prefer that you have several years of experience (preferably 3–5 years or more) as a site manager or project manager in earthworks and construction, with experience from various types of earth projects.
• Good knowledge of AMA, measurement and compensation rules, quantity lists, construction law, as well as experience with LOU projects, budget and forecasting work, and contract management.
• Experience in driving projects from start to finish with a holistic perspective, developing working methods and processes, and working towards clear goals and key performance indicators.
• Strong communication skills and experience in leading and motivating project teams.
• Certifications Bas-U, Bas-P, and Work on the Road.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and able to communicate in English.
• Swedish citizenship and the ability to undergo security clearance.
