Micasa Fastigheter builds, manages, and develops properties - with care.
We are part of the public utility sector in the city of Stockholm. Our mission is to provide accessible housing for the city's elderly and other groups prioritized by the city in the housing market.
Micasa Fastigheter has received an expanded mandate from the city of Stockholm and will need to build and renovate our property portfolio. We are growing as a company and on this dynamic journey, we face great opportunities! We are now looking for two Project Owners who want to help build the future of Stockholm!
About the position
We are looking for two Project Owners. One for a permanent position and one for a temporary position. Please indicate which role you are interested in the selection questions when applying. The role of Project Owner belongs to the Portfolio Development unit where you report to the unit manager. You will be part of a team with 4 other Project Owners. As a Project Owner, you contribute to the development of the company's properties by acting as an internal client in larger renovation and new construction projects, as well as identifying and developing project ideas that create added value in the company's property portfolio. The Project Owner is a contact point between project managers, management, customers, and leadership.
You are responsible for the overall results of the projects by ensuring their quality, economy, and customer satisfaction and benefit. The responsibility includes ensuring a long-term sustainable development of the company's properties in line with the company's mission and the needs of the city of Stockholm.
Main tasks:
- Responsible for ensuring that the project achieves set goals and requirements and follows decisions made
- Responsible for ensuring the project's investment calculation and that the projects follow the approved budget
- Ensure that the project follows the company's project model/process and the company's governing documents for projects such as framework programs and design instructions
- Responsible for preparing decision materials for the board based on the specific project's decision stages such as investigation, direction, implementation, and closure decisions
- Responsible for the project's reporting to the internal steering group and management group
- Provide conditions for the project manager to ensure that the project achieves set goals
- Coordinate the internal organization around the project
- Set requirements for and follow up on the project's risk and deviation management
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education focused on property management, property economics, or equivalent professional experience in the real estate industry
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a client responsible for overall quality, economy, and customer satisfaction/benefit in larger renovation or new construction projects of properties
- Experience and knowledge of ordering and ensuring quality and economy in construction projects of a more complex nature
- Knowledge of the detailed planning process and the design process
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is an advantage to have:
- Education in leadership, strategic planning, or project methods
- Experience in property economics or property development
- Knowledge of politically governed organizations and municipal operations
