About the Assignment

The Stockholm region is one of Europe's fastest-growing metropolitan areas. As part of the Stockholm Negotiation and the Sweden Negotiation, the subway is being expanded with new tracks, stations, and depot capacity. The Administration for Expanded Subway (FUT) is responsible for planning, design, and implementation of the expansion.

We are now looking for a Construction Manager with a focus on Strömskena to strengthen the organization in one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Manager Strömskena, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction work is carried out correctly, safely, and according to set requirements. The focus is on BEST work, but installation and construction work also occur.

You will also support other electrical disciplines such as:

• High Voltage 33 kV
• 
  
• Tunnel Electrical (400–1000 V)
• 
  
• Station Electrical (400–1000 V)
• 
  
• Temporary Power Supply

You will report to the coordinating construction manager and project manager and collaborate closely with other construction management and electrical installation responsible.

Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure that construction work is carried out according to agreements, requirements, and conditions
• 
  
• Follow up and report costs, time, quality, safety, work environment, environment, and social sustainability
• 
  
• Represent the Stockholm Region's Administration for Expanded Subway in meetings with contractors and external parties
• 
  
• Monitor permits, building permits, and contractual conditions
• 
  
• Coordination with adjacent contracts
• 
  
• Actively participate in safety and environmental rounds
• 
  
• Ensure the contractor's risk work, control plans, and self-checks
• 
  
• Review work preparations from a technical and work environment perspective
• 
  
• Conduct inspections, follow up on inspection remarks, and ensure final documentation
• 
  
• Participate in financial follow-up, forecasts, change management, and invoice review
• 
  
• Participate in design work and evaluation of technical solutions

Requirements Profile

• Documented experience as a construction manager within electrical/BEST, preferably Strömskena
• 
  
• Experience from larger infrastructure or construction projects
• 
  
• Good knowledge of work environment, safety, and contract law
• 
  
• Able to work structured, independently, and coordinately
• 
  
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

Other

• Working hours: 40 hours/week
• 
  
• Overtime, inconvenient working hours, and on-call duty may occur
• 
  
• The assignment is performed on-site in Stockholm
