Automation Engineer with PLC Programming Experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an automation engineer within the Rockwell environment, you will work with our client's various Life Science customers to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize control systems based on Allen-Bradley and Studio 5000. You will be part of cross-functional project teams and work in complex production environments where quality, traceability, and safety are crucial. The role is entirely on-site with the client and offers both technical breadth and depth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems, focusing on PLC programming and integration of industrial equipment. You will be an important resource to ensure smooth and efficient production flows for our clients.

Programming and troubleshooting in Allen-Bradley/Studio 5000
Integration of process equipment and work with industrial protocols
Participate in projects for automation and optimization of GMP-controlled production lines
Collaboration with process, electrical, and validation engineers in cross-functional teams

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has at least 2 years of experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
Very good experience with Studio 5000 / Logix Designer
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, communication, and logic in AB environments
Documented experience working in process-intensive environments such as Life Science, pharmaceuticals, food, energy, or other regulated environments
Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

Meritorious:

Technical education at the college/university level in automation, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent experience
Experience in integration between PLC and SCADA/DCS/MES
Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements
Experience in advanced troubleshooting and optimization of control systems
Experience with Rockwell's ecosystem (FactoryTalk, PanelView, etc.)
