JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you enjoy variation and a combination of working both indoors and outdoors in all weather? The position of operations technician offers a varied job both outdoors and indoors all year round.

As an operations technician with us, you will have a varied job where you will work with everything from routine tasks such as monitoring chambers and wells to commissioning new customers, maintenance, as well as monitoring our district heating and cooling networks. There is also some administrative work that needs to be done, so basic computer skills are an advantage.

You will have the chance to work both independently and with your colleagues, and it is required that you can adapt plans when the day does not go as expected. Once you have gotten the hang of the job, being on call will also be part of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education, is practical, curious, and loves to learn new things. Do you have experience in maintenance, operations, plumbing, or mechanics? That’s great! If you also have a background in operations technician training or knowledge in welding, electricity, or network-based infrastructure, that’s an extra plus.

There will be some heavy lifting and work in tight spaces, so it’s good to be prepared for that. You should have some computer skills since administrative tasks are included.

We are eight employees with different backgrounds and we learn a lot from each other. The position requires a B driver's license, and having a BE driver's license is an advantage.
