As a facility technician at Riksbyggen, you will be one of those who work closest to the customers.

The work is varied, social, and very independent with a great deal of personal responsibility.

With us, you make a difference

You will work in customer teams, in close collaboration with colleagues, facility technicians, and property caretakers. Your tasks will include regular repairs and inspections of the properties' heating and ventilation systems, as well as other property-related technology. You are encouraged to come up with your own suggestions and ideas for improvements. Your main responsibility will be to optimize technical systems in our customers' properties and ensure they function at their best. You will work in both residential and commercial properties. With us, the computer and phone are essential tools, and every work order is handled digitally.

As an employee at Riksbyggen, you are also expected to be a member of one or more housing cooperatives, and if you have board assignments, a responsibility fee will be paid.

Examples of tasks:

• Daily communication with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Supervision and maintenance on-site of the properties' technical systems.
• Performing service on heating, ventilation, and control systems.
• Managing contractual work such as monitoring media statistics, servicing technical installations, and operational monitoring.
• Troubleshooting heating, hot water, and ventilation issues, etc. for our customers.
• Repair and maintenance actions in facility technical systems.

You contribute with your expertise and engagement

We are looking for someone with broad property expertise who is confident and knowledgeable in your professional role. You are a team player with a good ability to see and meet customer needs, both internal and external. You act professionally and customer-oriented and enjoy working in the property industry with a focus on the customer. Since the job involves a lot of customer contact, you understand the importance of being service-oriented and able to collaborate and cooperate with others, and you can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Qualifications:

• Facility technician education, or a high school education with a technical focus, or equivalent competence acquired in another way.
• A broad technical property competence and several years of experience working as a facility technician.
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems, control and regulation technology. Knowledge of fire alarms/sprinklers or hot work is an advantage.
• Good computer skills
• Driving license B

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Växjö, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
