Information about the Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:
The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army forces. Fast combat boats and hovercraft make the unit highly mobile. Our weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and under the water surface, in the air, and on land. This enables us to exert control over coastal areas.
The unit trains amphibious soldiers, coastal rangers, sailors, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for the war unit 2nd Amphibious Battalion and 2nd Marine Base Battalion. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga). Please read more at Swedish Armed Forces (https://www.forsvarsmakten.se/sv/organisation/stockholms-amfibieregemente-amf-1/).
Every day and every hour, our employees make contributions that affect other people's lives, both in large and small ways, both at home and around the world.
The Armed Forces has a strong value base built on openness, results, and responsibility. Professional development and personal health are valued and encouraged. There are good opportunities for internal career mobility, wellness initiatives, and a good balance between work and private life.
Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
