Home Care Öster is located in central Kungsbacka.

We are close to Kungsbacka station with good communication, with a journey that takes 21 minutes from Gothenburg and 26 minutes from Varberg.

The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

As a nursing assistant, you will meet people with different needs and work in their homes. It is a free and varied job where you will be part of a professional work group. We work with continuity in three smaller teams. Within home care, there is an ongoing effort to clarify the nursing assistant's role, which means that you as a nursing assistant with us do not perform cleaning or home delivery of groceries.

In your role, collaboration with colleagues and home healthcare is crucial to providing high-quality care with a personal focus and a rehabilitative approach. By creating tailored implementation plans and routines for each care recipient, while striving for a safe and stimulating environment for both them and your work group, you create a meaningful and enriching care experience.

You will work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your Profile

As a person, you enjoy working in a team and find it easy to meet and collaborate with others. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional demeanor towards residents and colleagues. Furthermore, you are eager to learn new things and actively participate in the development of the organization, being creative in finding new solutions. You have good computer skills and an interest in learning about our digital tools, such as Medvind, Combine, and IP. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained or studying nursing assistant
• holds a B driver's license
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent position based on agreement for full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the option to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the organization.
