Operations Technician with Team Leader Responsibility

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an operations technician with team leader responsibility, you will be a key person in our operations group. You will work practically with operations and management while also having a leading role in the daily work of the operations team.

Your responsibilities will include:

In your role as an operations technician (approximately 50% of your working time)

  • Working with daily operations, management, and further development of our Microsoft-based environments.
  • Troubleshooting, improving, and contributing solutions to existing systems and applications.
  • Being a driving force in the development and improvement of operational processes, guidelines, and routines.
  • Contributing to a team where we solve problems together, share knowledge, and build sustainable long-term solutions.

In your role as a team leader (remaining part of your working time)

  • Leading and facilitating meetings.
  • Planning and distributing work within the operations group.
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to the team's development.
  • Being the contact person for other groups in the organization.
  • Actively working on the operations group's management plan and long-term planning, as well as having regular check-ins with the group manager.

We work closely together in a team where knowledge is shared and challenges are solved collectively.

Qualifications and Your Attributes

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in an operations team.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft environments (e.g., Windows Server, SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory, O365).
  • Experience leading teams, projects, or coordinating work efforts.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to structure and prioritize work.
  • A university degree in IT or equivalent experience.

Desirable knowledge:

  • Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g., SCOM).
  • Experience with Linux environments and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of hybrid/on-prem environments with both Microsoft and Linux.
  • Experience with automation via scripts (e.g., PowerShell).
