The IT Infrastructure Unit is responsible for the development, operation, and management of the Swedish Board of Agriculture's IT technical platforms and cybersecurity efforts. The unit is in a phase where several new capabilities need to be built up, including the establishment of a SOC and enhanced ability to analyze, test, and protect the authority's systems and data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Swedish Board of Agriculture is strengthening its capabilities in IT and cybersecurity to meet new requirements, manage increased threats, and ensure robust protection of the authority's information and systems. We are now looking for an experienced cybersecurity officer who can contribute technical specialist expertise to our ongoing and long-term security work.
As a cybersecurity officer, you will be part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture's IT and cybersecurity grouping, organized within the IT Infrastructure Unit. You will work both operationally and tactically in areas such as security analyses, technical security testing, security reviews, and the development of internal capabilities and working methods. You have the ability to see the big picture and translate it into concrete security measures.
Your role includes, among other things:
- Conducting security reviews, vulnerability analyses, and penetration tests of the authority's systems, both in-house developed and external
- Participating in the establishment and further development of the authority's Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Contributing to forensic analyses and investigations as needed
- Participating in the operation and development of security products, log management, and system monitoring
- Supporting system development, cybersecurity, and the Infrastructure Unit with expertise in IT security
- Contributing to the development of routines, working methods, and documentation in cybersecurity
- Educating and raising awareness of IT security among technicians, developers, and other relevant parts of the organization
- Participating in the authority's work with risk assessments and security-related analyses related to, for example, MSB regulations, new legislation, and NIS2
- The work is carried out in close collaboration with several internal functions, including IT infrastructure, development teams, and the security unit. The role may also involve contacts with suppliers and partner organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Many years of experience in IT infrastructure
- Many years of experience in operating Windows and/or Linux systems
- Many years of experience in identity and access management
- Good knowledge of relevant security frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE, NIST, and the ISO 27000 series
- Our working language is Swedish, so you need to be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Meritorious:
- Experience in IT forensics
- Experience in DevSecOps
- Knowledge of MSBFS, FMFS, DPR, OSL
- Knowledge of European regulations such as NIS2, CER, eIDAS, CRA, and SDG
- Certifications in IT and Cybersecurity
- API security, e.g., ACSP
- Practical penetration testing, PNPT, OSCP
- Experience with cybersecurity tools for analysis and penetration testing
- Many years of experience in API security

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position as it involves placement in a security class. The employment requires a successful security clearance with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
