Business Developer IT for the Social Administration

The Social Administration is one of Vaggeryd Municipality's largest administrations with about 500 employees. To support the various operations, there is a staff consisting of two units: the Quality and Development Unit and the Administration and Service Unit.

The common mission of the Quality and Development Unit is to support the operations in meeting the requirements and goals set for the operations according to laws and other regulations. The unit is also tasked with working on digitalization and welfare technology, managing the operations' systems, and leading digitalization projects as assigned.

About the Role

As a Business Developer IT, you will be a resource in the Social Administration's development work. You will be part of the Quality and Development Unit and primarily work closely with system developers and welfare technicians. You will play a key role in developing and improving our working methods and strengthening information security throughout the administration. You will work to support the upcoming legal requirements, such as the new law on cybersecurity, and manage and develop the various systems of the Social Administration together with the operations.

Your role includes, among other things:

• driving and supporting digitalization and development projects
• working operationally with information security (e.g., classification, risk analysis, and follow-up)
• supporting work with data protection
• contributing to the development of systems such as Combine, Phoniro, and DigitalFox
• monitoring and implementing requirements related to legislation
• providing support to managers and employees on issues related to digitalization
• collaborating with the IT and digitalization unit

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT, business development, information security, or equivalent, and experience working in the public sector, preferably within social services. It is an advantage if you have training as an IT project manager. You have a good understanding of information security and data protection and experience in digitalization work, preferably in project form. It is beneficial if you have worked with or have good knowledge of Combine, as well as other systems within the Social Administration, such as Phoniro and DigitalFox. We also prefer candidates with experience working with standards and regulations such as ISO 27000 and ISO 31000:2018.

For the role, you need to have the ability to work strategically and take on practical tasks. You have a structured working method, are confident in driving development, and have the ability to translate the needs of the operations into digital solutions.
