Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Wants to work with an 11-year-old boy living in Härnösand.

• Has good physical condition as you need to be able to be on the floor and meet the client, and heavy lifting is required.

• Is curious and open to trying new activities and new ways of communicating.

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience with sign language support 

• Have experience with epilepsy

• Experience working in schools

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary: The current employment form is a fixed-term position until mid-January 2026 (with the possibility of extension). The employment rate is 70%. Working hours are between 14:30-20:00 on weekdays and every other weekend, Saturdays 10:00-20:00 and Sundays 10:00-18:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date Immediately.

Being employed at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
