Your new workplace:

You will play an important role in creating a safe, developing, and meaningful existence for the care recipients.

Collaboration with other professionals is part of your role to ensure that the needs of the care recipients are met in a pedagogical and structured manner, focusing on the individual's participation and independence. Based on laws, goals, and guidelines, you contribute to ensuring that the user is at the center, has influence over, and is involved in their interventions.

You will work according to LSS and other relevant legislation, as well as the municipality's values, political goals, and other guidelines. The interventions should be based on the individual's psychological, physical, and social needs, aiming to minimize the consequences of disabilities as much as possible.

Your contributions in your professional role:

• Provide support, care, and assistance to individuals and motivate them to engage in meaningful activities in a way that strengthens their resources and enables as independent a life as possible.
• Work with social documentation, follow-ups, and incident reporting.
• Structure and plan work according to the employer's established directives.
• Perform health and medical tasks delegated by a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.
• Follow work methods, common approaches, routines, and guidelines.
• Have responsibilities and assignments both within and outside the regular workplace.
• Actively participate in meetings and planning days.
• Contribute to developing a qualitative operation by providing ideas for changes and improvements and participating in professional development.
• Assist in the introduction of new staff and mentor students according to established routines.
• Collaborate with the user's network and other partners.

The position includes work during evenings, weekends, on-call, or awake nights.

Your qualifications and experience:

We are looking for someone with training as a support assistant (nursing assistant with a focus on disability care) or other education deemed equivalent.

Requirements for the position:

• Experience working with low-arousal approaches
• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish

Meritorious:

• Experience working with clear pedagogical methods and AAC/TAAC
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work in, order, and register in various operational systems
