The school is located in the heart of Bredbyn, about 40 km from central Örnsköldsvik. The school is characterized by development and joy in work towards the well-being, safety, and results of the students.

Job Responsibilities

Being a social pedagogue means you would have a mission focused on students with problematic school absenteeism, being a resource to implement the supportive measures that we know are the right way to break isolation.

The social pedagogue should be available as a resource to conduct home visits, contact parents, and write plans for students. Perhaps picking up, meeting students, finding alternative ways to socialize (walks, team meetings, etc.) and creating sustainable schedules for these students.

The focus will be on:

• being a safe adult at the school and being available for the students
• being there for students with absenteeism issues
• catching early signals
• mapping needs
• reviewing future measures needed in the unit

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a social pedagogue, social worker, or at least has a 3-year behavioral science degree.

To be considered for the position, experience working in educational settings or other equivalent experience is required.

You are a calm and stable person who is comfortable in various contexts. You are attentive, responsible, and engaged. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license, category B, is a requirement.
