HVB Sundsbruk is a care and housing home for girls aged 14-18 years. The home has seven places. We work on behalf of the social services according to SoL or LVU.
A clear and stated focus in the treatment at home is a systemic and network-oriented approach. We enable our youth to maintain their functioning connection at home by increasing stability, improving school attendance, developing social and emotional skills, reducing risk behaviors, and strengthening their belief in the future.
The workgroup consists of eight treatment assistants, one family therapist, and one treatment leader.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a treatment assistant, you are close to the placed youth in their daily lives.
You have a responsibility as contact staff, where you, together with the treatment leader, implement the care plan for the placed individual into practice.
As a treatment assistant, you also share responsibility for the unit's treatment mission and administrative tasks together with colleagues and the unit manager.
Your tasks include, among others:
- maintaining an individual daily routine for each youth
- motivating for change
- planning, documenting, and following up on client work
- participating in the common household
- actively engaging in the youth's activities and interests
- collaborating with guardians, social workers, schools, BUP, and others
- administrative responsibility for purchases, invoicing, and other administrative tasks according to the needs and distribution of responsibilities within the operation
- ensuring that the HVB home's household is maintained, including cooking, cleaning, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a two-year post-secondary education focused on social work, such as a treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in HVB, trauma-informed care, NPF, ICDP, MI, and ART
- Knowledge of other languages besides Swedish
- Experience and knowledge of Treserva
Requirements for the position:
- Driver's license B
- Work during inconvenient hours, including weekends and on-call duty
- Active participation in internal training and supervision
- Participation in planned activities within the operation
- Approved drug test
- Extract from suspicion and criminal record (not older than 1 month)
- Submitted health declaration
You have a genuine interest in working with people. You are relationship-building, empathetic, and have an easy time establishing trusting relationships. You possess personal maturity, meaning you are emotionally stable, self-aware, and secure in yourself.
You are flexible, resilient, self-driven, clear, and responsible, and can distinguish between the personal and professional.
