Description

The position involves being responsible for Säbrå and Häggdånger, two of the seven parishes in the pastorate. The responsibility includes being a clerical member of the parish councils on the delegation of the dean and, under the leadership of the working minister, collaborating with other staff to develop parish activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the activities within the Säbrå and Häggdånger parishes
• Worship services, primarily in Säbrå and Häggdånger
• Church activities in the pastorate
• Development areas in dialogue with you and the needs of the parishes

We want to utilize your experiences and interests and see several possible areas for you to develop within the pastorate, such as coordinator for Act, work with learning and teaching among adults, work with children, youth, and confirmands, school contacts such as Bible Adventure, sign language activities, pastoral care, work among the elderly, etc.

Qualifications

Eligibility to be a priest in the Church of Sweden is a requirement for the position.

Conditions

The position is located in Säbrå, Byåker 240.

A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

About Härnösands pastorate

Härnösands pastorate consists of seven parishes that offer several worship services each week, music events, choirs, community gatherings, meeting places, groups for children and youth, meditation, and much more. The distances within the pastorate are at most 40 km.

In total, the pastorate has about 50 full-time employees as well as seasonal employees and summer workers. As a priest, you will be part of a team consisting of eight priests, four deacons, one deacon assistant, five educators, and seven musicians. You will become part of an active parish life with great commitment, community, support, and faith.

In addition to the specific areas of responsibility that lie within the various positions, some positions have a geographical focus, but all employees can serve throughout the pastorate, which encompasses Härnösand municipality.
