JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a support assistant for Functional Support in Junsele, placed at a special accommodation for adults.

Within Functional Support, you have the opportunity to enter a safe environment and contribute to our important work. Your main tasks consist of providing residents with the opportunity for a meaningful life in community. With a pedagogical approach, you start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life.

An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active leisure time. Together with your colleagues, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and rich in content.

You establish and design implementation plans, document, and contribute to maintaining a good quality in the operations.

The work suits you who can work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education from the Health and Care Program, Child & Leisure Program, or other relevant healthcare education and/or experience working with people in the field of disabilities.

As a person, you need to be clear, calm, and able to adapt to the needs of the operations. You have good pedagogical insight and are good at adapting your working methods to different individuals' conditions and interests. You are an initiator who is eager to seek new knowledge and see opportunities for development, while also being flexible in the face of changing circumstances or conditions.

The work offers the opportunity to make a real difference for people with disabilities, but it also places high demands on competence, commitment, and personal maturity. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

You need to be able to communicate well in Swedish as you will have dialogues with users and colleagues, as well as follow written and oral work instructions. Many of your tasks involve being able to receive instructions and convey information in a correct and clear manner. We use language tests before proceeding in the recruitment process.

Desirable knowledge and experience:

• Education as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or nursing assistant
• Driver's license B, manual transmission
• Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)
