About Us

The mission of the Medical Clinic is to provide residents with specialized care and treatment in the field of internal medicine.

We are a process-oriented knowledge organization characterized by competent employees, high quality of care, a willingness to develop, commitment, responsibility, and participation. The clinic consists of two outpatient clinics with different specialties such as neurology, diabetes, endocrinology, nephrology, hematology, pulmonary medicine, two dialysis units, several day care units, foot care, and three inpatient wards. We work in teams with a patient-centered approach where the patient is at the center.

Ward 9 has 21 beds focused on pulmonary medicine, nephrology, and diabetes palliative care. There is a palliative team associated with the ward that we work closely with.

About the Job

Are you looking for a new challenge and open to developing in a new area of knowledge? Then you might be one of the nurses we are currently seeking for Ward 9, where you will work in inpatient care with internal medicine patients, focusing primarily on pulmonary medicine, nephrology, diabetes, and palliative care.

We will be working a lot on change and development work where you have the opportunity to participate. The Medical Clinic offers its employees internal training with a focus on the various subspecialties of internal medicine.

In the ward, we mentor both nursing students and nursing assistants. If you are new to your profession, all nurses are offered individual orientation and supervision.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse! You are committed, proactive, and open to new challenges and opportunities, and you have a patient-centered approach. We also want you to value a work environment characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and good collaboration between colleagues and the immediate supervisor, just like us. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
