The AI-Hub team is a young and newly established cross-functional team consisting of system developers, data scientists, and data engineers who work at the forefront with the most modern technologies. Examples from our tech stack include Python, FastAPI, Llama, OpenAI, React, Langchain, pgvector, and TensorFlow. Development and use of ML models, such as LLMs, are a central part of our work.

Overall, our mission is to develop, deploy, and maintain AI solutions for the entire Västra Götalandsregion. We closely collaborate with other internal teams in areas such as UX, testing, and BI to fulfill the chain from data, through model development and system development, to application based on the needs of the business.

We are now looking for a DevOps developer whose primary task will be to work on automating deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the team's self-developed AI services. Seize the opportunity to join one of Sweden's largest employers.

Your Mission

Together with your team members, your mission will be to build a technical structure that allows large-scale, secure, and resource-efficient use of AI within VGR.

Your main responsibility will be to establish automation and lifecycle management of the team's services. Typical areas of work will include managing Kubernetes clusters, developing GitLab pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring solutions, basic cybersecurity, and much more.

In this role, you will have ample opportunity to contribute to shaping the processes that will lay the foundation for our continued work. Furthermore, our tech stack is under development, so there is also significant room for you to influence it with your experiences and knowledge.

To Succeed in This Role, You Need:

• A relevant academic education, such as computer science
• Good programming skills, preferably in Python
• Good experience and knowledge of implementing DevOps, CI/CD (GitLab on-prem), and preferably GitOps or MLOps
• Good experience with GNU/Linux: Bash scripting, automation, etc.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes clusters and orchestration of services
• Experience with Docker or Podman
• Understanding of network and cybersecurity
• It is advantageous if you have experience with on-prem solutions such as OpenShift
• Have an innovative ability for new thinking and an open and norm-critical approach
• Be proactive and solution-focused
• Good communication skills
