Role Description:

Your Role As a Senior System Tester, you’ll join a dynamic team dedicated to testing and validating the AC-Charging functionality. Your expertise will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of this critical system through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Test Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute robust test plans and scripts to validate charging system functionality and performance. • Hands-on Testing: Conduct manual and automated tests using tools like test-bench, HIL, and real-vehicle testing. • Fault Tracing & Resolution: Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to address software and hardware issues. • Collaboration & Mentorship: o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders. o Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. • Continuous Improvement: Identify testing bottlenecks, propose process enhancements, and optimize tools and methodologies. • Documentation & Reporting: Write detailed test reports, manage fault reports, and maintain regression test suites. What You’ll Do • Define test activities and prepare equipment for testing assets and DUTs (Devices Under Test) in collaboration with requirement owners and suppliers. • Perform function verification, including acceptance and regression tests for in-house or supplier deliverables. • Conduct system-level tests using Boxcar, HIL, and vehicles. • Develop test methods and cases using tools such as Carweaver. • Independently perform fault tracing, log measurements, and analyze signals for various components. • Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria and requirements. • Participate in vehicle expeditions for real-world testing scenarios. What We’re Looking For Qualifications • Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent. Experience: o Extensive experience in system testing for embedded systems, particularly within the automotive industry. o Hands-on experience with HIL systems and real-vehicle testing. o Knowledge of automotive product development and power electronics, specifically OBC functionality. o Testing activities with different tools and measurement systems. Technical Skills: o Proficiency with tools such as: CANalyzer/CANoe INCA MDA DSA SystemWeaver DTECS DeweSoft Jira/Virao Knowledge of dSpace test rigs o Familiarity with high-voltage measurement methods o Simple HW circuit analysis. o Automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN). o Understanding of charging standards like IEC-61851, J1772, and SAE J3400 (NACS). • Driving License: A valid Swedish B-category driver’s license is required. • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.
