The municipality of Mariestad is working to reduce the amount of goods transported to schools and nursing homes within the city. This is important both to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, congestion, and noise, and to increase safety during loading and unloading of goods. Additionally, we want to develop and streamline our purchasing routines. Therefore, since 2019, there has been a logistics hub from which all goods to be distributed to various municipal operations are delivered.

We are now looking for a warehouse worker to replace one of our skilled employees at the hub.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The logistics hub is based in our premises in the industrial area along Förrådsgatan. Here, you will work closely with another warehouse worker, sharing responsibilities.

The job includes both physical and administrative tasks such as loading and unloading of goods transports, distribution of goods to the municipality's various operations, as well as associated documentation and administrative handling.

The position is a permanent part-time employment at 50%. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

To fit the role of warehouse worker with us, you should have a B driver's license and a forklift license for categories B1 and A2. You should have previous work experience in loading and unloading, as well as experience driving light trucks.

Together with your colleague, you will distribute tasks between yourselves, so you need to be unpretentious in this close collaboration.

As a person, you are also communicative, flexible, meticulous, and structured. You have an eye for service while being able to work independently. Since the workload can sometimes be high, you need to have a good ability to sort and prioritize your tasks.

Since your job as a warehouse worker also involves some administrative duties, we expect you to have digital maturity.
