The Adult Psychiatry Area (VO) in Kristianstad provides outpatient care in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Simrishamn, and Ystad. The emergency department and all inpatient care are located in Kristianstad. For residents belonging to Ystad, Skurup, and Sjöbo, inpatient care and emergency services are offered in Malmö and Lund. Our catchment area includes the northeastern and southeastern municipalities of Skåne, with a total of approximately 300,000 people. We have a good collaboration with the municipalities through cooperation meetings and care planning. Despite a large geographical spread, our operations are characterized by proximity and short decision-making paths.

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Ystad is a well-functioning, fully staffed, and stable operation where we care for each other and our patients. We assess and treat patients with affective disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions. We work with a gradual and individually tailored treatment both in groups and individually to meet the patients' needs. Here, you will meet approximately 45 employees with a genuine interest in providing our patients with the best possible care. We work in interdisciplinary specialist teams to collectively meet the patient's needs. The teams consist of doctors, psychologists, nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, medical secretaries, and social workers.

Our clinic is in constant development and works with the implementation of standardized care processes and the person-centered care approach.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

One of our colleagues is going on parental leave, and therefore we now welcome a psychologist for a temporary position with us!

In this role, you will primarily work from our NDD team but will meet and treat patients from all teams. Responsibilities include assessment interviews, investigations, diagnostics, and psychological treatment. You will meet patients both individually and in groups. The work also involves joint assessments with doctors, team conferences, consultations, and collaboration with care neighbors and other organizations.

The position is a temporary position for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with authorization to practice within the Swedish healthcare system. Additionally, you should have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is advantageous if you have experience in general psychiatric outpatient care and/or psychotherapeutic treatment with CBT, as well as knowledge of the Melior and Våps systems. We welcome both those who are more experienced in their professional role and those who are newer and interested in our operations.

As a person, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and self-driven. You have good collaboration and communication skills and care about the social work environment. Additionally, you have a good ethical approach and a positive attitude towards both colleagues and patients. You also enjoy working and developing the organization together with your colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability.
