Physiotherapist to the Social Services Administration

The mission of the Social Services Administration is to provide care, support, and treatment to elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and those in need of home healthcare. The administration has approximately 1700 permanent employees and has a turnover of over one billion kronor. The Social Services Administration is divided into four operational areas: ordinary housing, special housing, support and services for disabilities, and the health and medical care department. The administration also includes the authority unit and a staff with important support functions such as HR, finance, and IT. Are you passionate about supporting and motivating others while working on activity and participation together with the patient? With us, you will have a developing role where you can truly make a difference!

At the rehabilitation unit of the Social Services Administration, you will be part of an engaged team of 32 occupational therapists and physiotherapists, as well as eight rehabilitation assistants.

We have a strong sense of community and are led by two unit managers who are there to support you. You will be based at one of our five workplaces – four in central Hässleholm and one in Tyringe.

As a clinical physiotherapist with us, you will work person-centeredly with assessment, interventions, and follow-ups within rehabilitation and habilitation. You will prescribe medical technical products and guide physiotherapeutic interventions. Your work involves close collaboration with nurses, case managers, coordinators, and care staff, and you will also have contact with colleagues in the region via the digital system “Mina Planer”.

Who are you?

Requirements:

  • Licensed physiotherapist
  • Class B driver's license required.
  • High collaboration ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute
  • Ability to work across professional boundaries
  • Solution-focused with great respect for the individual
  • Enjoys helping others
  • Able to work in a team but also take individual responsibility
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills

We also offer health-promoting initiatives and support to those who care for and support a relative. Our goal is for those who need care and support in their daily lives to be able to live as independently as possible.

The health and medical care department is responsible for services within home healthcare and rehabilitation. The services are performed by nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care staff within other operational areas based on their profession.
