Make a Difference. Every Day.

Do you want to work as a psychologist in an organization where you make a tangible difference every day? At the Adult Rehabilitation Center in Malmö, you work closely with patients and in a multidisciplinary team characterized by commitment, knowledge, and care. With us, you have the opportunity to utilize your entire skill set in a long-term and meaningful job.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center in Malmö caters to individuals over 18 years of age with a permanent disability, such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted according to the Health and Medical Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons, including the intervention Advice and Support. In addition to meeting patients, we also work with their relatives, staff, and assistants to create a sustainable network around the individual.

We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, supported by our unit secretaries. Teamwork is central to the operations and allows us to offer interventions based on each patient's unique needs and circumstances. The workplace is characterized by strong commitment and by the values of habilitation that emphasize the equal worth of all individuals, inherent strength, the right to privacy and self-determination, and the right to express one's opinion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a psychologist with us is meaningful, varied, and characterized by collaboration. You are part of a multidisciplinary team where the patient's needs are at the center. You meet both patients and their networks and have continuous contacts with, for example, psychiatry, municipalities, and authorities.

You plan interventions together with the patient and work to provide increased knowledge about the disability and its consequences. In your role, you will make assessments, provide support, advice, and treatment related to the patient's needs. The interventions can be provided individually or in groups, both physically and digitally. You will also contribute by mentoring the patient's network and will supervise students.

As a newcomer, you will receive a good introduction and an assigned mentor who supports you in your professional development. The organization also has a professional developer for the psychologist group who works to ensure a common basic competence and support development issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. It is an advantage if you have experience from habilitation or have worked with our target groups. We also appreciate if you have experience with digital work methods and journal systems, such as PMO.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a good ability to structure and plan their work, and who thrives in an environment where collaboration, development, and a holistic view are central. You are curious, creative, and flexible and see opportunities in an organization undergoing change. You share the values of habilitation and have a genuine interest in contributing to the patient's participation and self-determination. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In case of employment, a background check will be conducted.

We apply rolling selection, so do not hesitate to submit your application. We look forward to getting to know you! Interviews are planned to be held during week 3.
