JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Staffing Unit has a continuous need to recruit temporary workers in our operations as there can quickly be an increased demand for labor. Therefore, we are looking for new temporary workers who are ready to work as needed in our operations in the Svalöv urban areas. The work may involve day, evening, weekend, on-call, and night shifts.

The job responsibilities vary depending on which operation you work in. Below you can read about the different operations.

Special Housing

In special housing (nursing home), residents have access to service and care around the clock. Here, you will perform care and service tasks based on the residents' needs. You provide support to residents in managing their daily lives, such as assistance with personal care, cleaning, social contact, and activities.

Home Care

In home care, you work in the resident's home where tasks can range from cleaning, companionship on walks, and during mealtimes to assistance with medication and personal hygiene. The work is mostly independent, but double staffing may occur.

Functional Support

In functional support, you create conditions for people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to participate on equal terms in society. Your main tasks consist of care, personal hygiene, cleaning, social contacts, and activities.

Personal Assistance

As a personal assistant, you work in the resident's home. You provide support and service according to the resident's individual needs and wishes. You act as the resident's extended arm and assist in daily life. You perform everyday planned support measures and activities together with the resident. Rehabilitation is also included.

Social Psychiatry Housing

As a housing supporter, you create conditions for people with mental disabilities to participate on equal terms in society. Your main tasks consist of everyday planned support measures, social contacts, and activities.

Recreational Home/ Preschool

Working in a recreational home/preschool is a varied and important assignment where you collaborate with engaged educators and meet children in their play, learning, and daily life. Together with the team, you conduct educational work according to the curriculum and support children's development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

The common qualifications for our operations are:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You need to have a genuine interest in working with people in need of care and support.
• You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have a positive attitude in new encounters with people and are attentive to their needs.
• You can collaborate, as the work places high demands on good cooperation with colleagues, residents, relatives, and managers.

It is an advantage if:

• You have a B driver's license. In home care, a driver's license is a requirement, as well as in certain operations where there is no public transport available near the workplace.
• You have an approved or ongoing education in care or other education that may be relevant to the position.
• You have experience in similar work.

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. You also need to present valid identification documents depending on which country you are a citizen of.
