At Söderkulla short-term unit, Malmö residents stay to enable optimal mobilization and rehabilitation after illness. Our care places are specifically aimed at both rehabilitation and recovery. The short-term mission is directed towards users/patients over 18 years old. Söderkulla short-term accommodation is located at Tornfalksgatan 5, right next to the popular restaurant Rekas. We have 47 short-term places distributed over four floors, one of which is dementia-oriented. Here you will work cross-professionally with other nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will have a coordinator who relieves and supports you in your work. The short-term unit works based on person-centered care and thus with a rehabilitative approach.

Job Responsibilities
The work as a nurse in the short-term unit means that you independently assess, plan, organize, and perform medical treatment and care interventions. You collaborate in teams both internally and externally to meet the individual care needs. As a nurse, you are responsible for guiding and delegating nursing staff as well as providing advice and support to other professionals in the team around the patient. With us, you will work closely with other nursing colleagues; we are a close-knit group with extensive professional experience where we help each other.
We now welcome a new colleague who, through engagement and innovative thinking, can help us develop the business and is ready to take on the challenges within municipal healthcare.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. In addition, you have:
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Insight into applicable legislation, establishing goals and guidelines
- Good digital competence
It is an advantage if you have:
- Work experience as a nurse.
- Work experience from municipal healthcare/short-term care.
- Specialist training in a relevant area.
- Good experience in collaborating with other authorities and participating in various networks.
- Knowledge of the documentation programs Procapita and Pascal.
