We are now welcoming a new midwife to our competent and dedicated team. We deliver approximately 1600 babies per year, and as a midwife, you have the opportunity to work in rotation in our perinatal, maternity, and delivery departments.

- It is positive for me to be able to follow my birthing women. One day I can meet them in delivery, and the next day I can provide aftercare in maternity, says a midwife within the organization.

The delivery department is directly adjacent to the neonatal and operating departments. Here, we work to ensure that patients' birthing experiences are as positive and natural as possible, and we are HBTQI-certified. The delivery department also has a prenatal unit with four care places. In maternity, there are twelve care places where postpartum women and some prenatal patients are cared for. In total, we have about 100 midwives, nurses, and nursing assistants within obstetrics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a new midwifery colleague to our wonderful team.

With us, you will receive a solid introduction with an assigned mentor, individual onboarding, and time for reflection. To increase patient safety, we work with the Green Cross, have a responsible leader in delivery and maternity during all shifts, and practice couple care. We care for each other and share joy at work.

We strive to accommodate requests for working hours as much as possible through flexible scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Previous experience in maternity care is considered an advantage. You should have basic IT skills, and it is beneficial if you have experience with Obstetrix, PASiS, and Melior.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring for pregnant, birthing, and postpartum women and maintaining good contact with their families. It is a given for us that you are thorough in your midwifery role, take care of patients based on their different needs, and provide them with a good reception. As a person, you are engaged, proactive, flexible, and open to new challenges and opportunities.
