JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role, you will work closely with patients focusing on:

  • nursing and respiratory care
  • wound dressing and sampling
  • preventive work regarding pressure ulcers, falls, and malnutrition.

  • joint three-day introductory training focusing on infectious diseases, hygiene, isolation care, and department-specific equipment

We work with a wish schedule based on the needs of the operation, which gives you a balance between recovery and further education. The schedule rolls on a ten-week interval with two out of five weekends. The basic staffing is adapted to our patients' needs, and we increase staffing as needed. We continuously work with wellness factors, so it is important for us that you are engaged in workplace environment issues and help integrate these into everyday life.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are:

  • an educated nursing assistant and meet the Socialstyrelsen's requirements for a protected professional title regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure, preferably with a focus on healthcare/emergency care
  • have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • open and driven towards digital solutions - a new journal system is on the way!

It is meritorious if you have experience working in an infectious diseases department and caring for patients with tracheostomy, NIV, or HFNC.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, flexible, and adaptable. You enjoy working independently but are also a team player who contributes to a good working climate. Your willingness to develop both care and the work environment is important to us.
