JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Knivsta Municipality.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing practical, social, and pedagogical support to individuals in their home environment. When there are children in the family, the support is family-oriented, taking children's needs into high consideration. Supporting the strengthening of the individual's parenting in everyday life.
• Being a support to the individual in their recovery and providing compensatory support when needed.
• Assisting the individual with daily activities and routines to facilitate everyday life.
• Collaborating with the individual to establish an implementation plan that serves as the basis for continued goal-oriented work.
• Supporting individuals in their contact with authorities and other community agencies.
• Collaborating with other professionals.
• Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant education in care, social work, or similar, e.g., Support Educator, Treatment Educator, or Social Worker.

Experience working with people in need of support, preferably experience in residential support.

Empathetic and attentive personality with a good ability to create trusting relationships.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and proficiency in documenting your work.

Driver's license.
