We are now seeking dedicated support workers for our two new group homes in Jälla, just outside Uppsala. Here, you will help build an organization where quality, participation, and warmth permeate everything we do – together with colleagues who are passionate about the same mission.

About the role As a support worker, you will provide individualized support to people with various forms of disabilities. Your mission is to enhance independence and quality of life – by creating structure, motivating activity, and being present socially – always with respect, commitment, and curiosity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and personal hygiene

• providing social support in conversations, leisure activities, and outings

• documenting interventions and following up on implementation plans

• contributing to good collaboration within the team and with relatives

Working hours will be arranged according to the needs of the customers and may include day, evening, night (sleeping on call), and weekend work every other weekend.

About the organization The group homes in Jälla consist of two newly built LSS accommodations located next to each other in a nature-friendly area, with good communication links to central Uppsala. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and has a genuine interest in people. You are self-assured, attentive in your interactions with others, and thrive in a job where every day is different.

We would like you to have:

• education as a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or other equivalent care education

• previous experience with LSS or working with people with disabilities

• good Swedish skills in speaking and writing

• good physical ability

• A driver's license (B) is a requirement
