ABOUT THE JOB

I am an adult woman with Angelman syndrome. For me, this means that I understand a lot, but I cannot speak and therefore need help with communication and certain practical things in daily life. I live in a house in the countryside and feel best when days are varied and active.

As my personal assistant, you will be by my side whether I am at home or at my daily activity center. You will help me with what I need in my daily life, from household chores and meals to activities and outings. Your support makes a huge difference to me, every day.

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT LEVEL

The position is approximately 2 24-hour shifts per month, with the possibility of extra hours during the summer if desired.

The work consists of 24-hour shifts (09:00–09:00) with sleeping on-call duty on both weekdays and weekends.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly wage + holiday pay and possible overtime compensation. Collective agreements apply.

As soon as possible.

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK

According to law, an extract from the Police Register of Criminal Records and Suspicion is required when working with underage clients (under 18 years). Vivida also has a policy to always request extracts from all personal assistants, in order to ensure our clients' safety and the quality of the assistance. Therefore, we would like you, if called for an interview, to bring a current criminal record check that is no older than 6 months.
