Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Want to work with a 63-year-old man living in Uppsala
• Speak fluent Persian
• Have experience with autism and challenging behaviors
• Have a driver's license for a manual car, as you will drive the client's car when needed

It is also an advantage if you:

• Enjoy spending time outdoors
• Share the client's interest in trains and rail traffic
• Have experience with epilepsy
• Have experience with diabetes

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 100%. The work involves varied working hours during the day, evening, and active night, both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
