Do you want to work closely with families, both children and parents, with the goal of creating change and making a difference? Then this might be the job for you!

Brogården is an operation within Uppsala Municipality that works on behalf of social services and targets families with children aged 0-12 years. A common factor for most families coming to Brogården is that they are in a difficult social situation where deficiencies in parental care ability have created concern for the children's care and development. The goal of all our work is to focus on the children's safety and development, as well as the development potential in the parent-child relationship. Overall, our work with children and their parents is to ensure that our work is carried out as predictably, safely, and legally as possible.

The operation consists of two units:

  • Acute and Investigation Unit - Parents and children come to the institution in acute crisis situations and/or for investigation and for shorter support/treatment assignments. Placements are made in accordance with SoL or LVU. Family investigators at the institution have scheduled working hours which means approximately one evening a week and every sixth weekend.
  • Open Care Unit - Conducts investigations and shorter treatment interventions in families. Investigations are carried out in the families' homes and local environment. In the open care team, family investigators have trust-based working hours and work according to the families' schedules and needs, but not on weekends.

As an employee, you will notice our drive and investment in knowledge and competence development, through opportunities for further education and good supervision. We create internal projects to continuously develop, which fosters pride and engagement among us as employees in our daily work.

This means staying updated with current research and method development, and we would like you to participate in that work.

To succeed in this role, you need experience working with qualified family investigations. The job requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
