The Social and Labor Market Administration consists of three operations. In operation 1, the Individual and Family Care (IFO) includes the Child and Family Unit (BFE), Reception and Prevention Unit (MFE), the Unit for Social Interventions for Youth, and the Unit for Social Interventions for Adults (ESI).

Our unit, the Child and Family Unit (BFE), consists of 6 teams: family law, foster homes, crime group, and three child and youth teams, including a placement group, an investigation group, and a combo group that works on investigating and following up on interventions in open settings. In one of the child and youth teams, three social workers work with adults related to domestic violence (VINR). Each team is led by a senior social worker, and in addition, there are two assistant unit managers and one unit manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your mission is to recruit, investigate, support, guide, and educate foster homes and contact families/contact persons, as well as contact persons for social psychiatry. You will have a very close collaboration with the designated social worker for the placed child or youth.

The work also involves collaborating with other authorities and actors, which may include the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, guardians/specially appointed custodians, and the Swedish Migration Agency.

In your role as a foster care secretary, you will be challenged in your ability to think creatively and will also have the opportunity to help develop foster care work in the municipality. The work is both group-oriented and independent.

In the group, there is a senior social worker who has a supervisory role to support and guide you in your daily work. Every week, you and your colleagues have team meetings where you discuss current issues according to the agenda, and you also have regular case reviews with your senior social worker.

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant higher education of at least 2 years for the position.

Very good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.

Driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience of working in social services, especially in foster care/child and youth areas.
• Training in BBIC and knowledge of VIVA and Lifecare.
• Experience/knowledge of NPF diagnoses.
• Training in SOFS (Signs of Safety).
• Training in MI.
• Training in A Home to Grow In.
• Knowledge of another language than Swedish.
