Job Responsibilities

In the business area of Operational Leasing and the Fleet Management unit, we are expanding and are now looking for a machine-interested colleague who is service-oriented and independent, who wants to contribute to the development of our machine leasing operations.

The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders in park, land maintenance, and property management, where we handle machine categories such as ride-on lawn mowers, tool carriers, tractors, wheel loaders, street sweepers, work vehicles, etc.

We offer an opportunity to participate in sustainable efforts towards an electrified and fossil-free machine fleet in the City of Gothenburg.

As a machine coordinator, you will be responsible for ongoing administration and coordination within the area of machine leasing. You will handle matters related to leasing agreements, orders, invoices, and budget follow-up. You will assist in the preparation of specifications, calculations, quotes, and contract documents and ensure that agreements are adhered to and followed up.

The work also includes ordering machines and service agreements from suppliers and administering routines for service, maintenance, and repairs. You will assist customers and operations with support in purchasing processes and participate in the procurement work and renewed competition (FKU) in close collaboration with the leasing manager for machines, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

Who are you? To be successful in the role, we have high demands for personal qualities and suitability. We are looking for someone with great commitment and drive for your tasks and who enjoys working cross-functionally in the city to achieve our common goals. You can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks, are solution-oriented, proactive, and self-sufficient. You are structured, meticulous, communicative, and have an easy time building good relationships and trust both internally and externally. It is important that you are unpretentious and flexible in your approach as this is a role with varying tasks and contact points.

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in the field. You have a good technical understanding and a strong interest in machines. Experience from the machine industry within the aforementioned machine categories is an advantage, preferably through previous work or other competencies that we assess as equivalent. Experience working in or with public operations is also advantageous.

Language qualifications: fluent Swedish in speech and writing. Good level of English in speech and writing.
