Do you want to work closely with families and make a difference in their daily lives? At our Family Center in Haparanda, we collaborate with Haparanda municipality to create safety and support. The municipality provides coordinators, family guides, and open preschool, while the region is responsible for maternal, women's, and child health care as well as youth reception.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed midwife who has good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to level C1. It is advantageous if you have experience in maternal health care within primary care, previous work in primary care, and knowledge of other languages.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and see that you are self-driven, structured, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to different situations. You also have a holistic view and consider the needs of the entire family in your work.
What you will work with
With us, you will become part of the Family Center and receive an independent and varied assignment that is both exciting and educational. You will work with maternal and women's health care, which includes contraceptive counseling, gynecological cell sampling, and health counseling. You are also an important part of the youth reception and participate in parent education together with other functions at the Family Center. Here you will have the opportunity to meet people in various life situations and contribute to safety and health for the whole family.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement, working hours are Monday - Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
The position is within pediatric care: We apply a background check before the employment decision according to the provisions of the law (2013:852) on background checks of persons who will work with children.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
